Logistics Claims Manager Jobs

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage workflow of the Claims Department, including but not limited to, carrier claims, claims payment, coaching, counseling, performance reviews for all Kool Pak drivers, and work priorities for direct reports.

· Administer the quality assurance program.

· Manage the carrier food safety program by assisting terminals with food safety issues.

· Oversee investigations into freight temperature issues and claims.

· Train terminal staff on recall procedures and monitor quarterly mock or real recalls for all terminals.

· Maintain excellent communication with customers, suppliers, drivers, and other departments.

· Handle internal software claims submissions from drivers and customers.

Experience, Abilities, and Qualities Preferred:

· 3-5 years of logistics and freight claims management experience or in a similar field.

· 1-3 years of LTL freight transportation and supervisory experience.

· Experience dealing with freight carriers, claims, and investigation management.

· Excellent customer service skills.
