Job Description

Very reputable midsize Insurance Defense Litigation law firm in Dallas is looking for a Litigation Secretary for an immediate need! Award winning law firm with an incredible culture.

  • 2-3 +years of Legal experience
  • 4 weeks vacation
  • 1-2 years of Litigation experience
  • Position pays $55,000 - $65,000 w/ Bonus and great work/life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare draft court orders.
  • Calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines.
  • Draft pleadings, summons, complaints, notices of filings, notices of motion and supporting affidavits.
  • Organize case files.
  • Create and maintain pleadings indexes.
  • Legal Office Admin work

Keys

  • Prepare deposition summaries
  • Client contact to develop responses and other requests.
  • Draft interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and other discovery.
  • Calendar discovery deadlines.
  • Organize, review and analyze documents for production.
  • Create and maintain discovery indexes and privilege logs.
