Coeur is an upcoming fine dining restaurant opening in Ferndale in May 2023. At Coeur, we are rooted in a desire to serve delicious food that is envisioned and produced simply and cleanly. We source high-quality ingredients that are grown responsibly and sourced locally and seasonally so we can support the communities where we do business.
We work with farmers and artisans who share our values, who look to the future and acknowledge that the way we treat our land, and our environment has a profound impact today and for generations to come.
We are currently building our team with the anticipation of opening for service Mid May. Upscale Casual or Fine dining experience a definite plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Consistent preparation and presentation based on overall standards, including portion size
- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of individual work area and kitchen, including equipment, counters, tools, waste areas, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent professional conduct and safe working habits while in all areas.
- Culinary training and prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
- Basic kitchen knowledge is a plus. I.E, knife skills, sauté, fry, braising, stocks, mis-en-place.
- Possess the ability to take direction and receive constructive criticism.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to push, pull or carry Fifty pounds, Ability to bend, kneel and squat.
- Assist fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen porters in daily tasks of the kitchen.
- Be able to multi-task and work at an organized and efficient pace to keep up with business needs.
- Serve Safe food safety and sanitation certified.

- Serve Safe Food Safety and Sanitation certified.
