Licensed Optician (M/W/D)

Our MYKITA Shop Los Angeles is currently looking for an Licensed Optician to join our team. More details on the desired profile below:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Eyewear dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance (training provided)
• Represent MYKITA’s vision and values
• The highest level of empathic customer service
• Sell MYKITA frames and lenses to a wide variety of clients
• Administrative tasks
• Lens measurements and ordering

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Minimum of one-year experience in retail optical setting
• CA licensed in spectacle lens dispensing
• Enjoying to consult and sell high-end eyewear to international customers
• Independent and organized work habits required
• Detail, quality, and service oriented
• Ability to work weekends
• Lens edging skills are beneficial but not required
• Highly motivated and excellent team player
• Courteous and effective communication skills both verbal and written, including frequent and prompt email usage
