Open-source Intelligence Analyst

Duration: 12 months (possible extension or conversion)

Location: HYBRID W/ ONSITE REQUIREMENT – 3 days onsite

• Communication and Reporting: Effective communication skills are crucial in this role. The candidates must be capable of conveying complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, both in written reports and verbal briefings.
• Analytical Skills: As an OSINT analyst, candidates must possess strong analytical skills to effectively triage and process intelligence alerts, reports, and briefings. They should be able to draw meaningful insights from the collected data and present their findings to decision-makers.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: The candidates should have a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and be able to monitor and research cyber threats that could impact the organization's brand. This involves staying up-to-date with the latest cyber threat trends and being able to assess their potential impact.
• Background and Knowledge: Candidates should have a strong background and knowledge in the field of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis. This includes understanding how to gather, process, and analyze intelligence from publicly available sources such as websites, social media, forums, and other online platforms.
• Risk Assessment and Compliance: Candidates should demonstrate an ability to assess risks associated with cyber threats and business decisions. Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies is essential to safeguard the organization and its assets.
• Experience: Relevant experience in cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or a related field would likely be preferred. Previous work in the OSINT domain or a similar role would be advantageous.
• Team Player and Mentorship: The job description mentions an informal/formal mentor role within teams. Candidates who can collaborate effectively within a team environment and are willing to assist with coaching and training new team members will be valued.
