What does the job entail?

  • Developing and Maintaining Internal Resources: Assisting in the creation and maintenance of centralized resources and internal tools to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Contract Record Management: Coordinating electronic signatures and maintaining accurate contract records and filings.
  • Monitoring Intake Mechanisms and Workflows: You will oversee and optimize the intake processes and workflows within the legal department to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancement within the legal team and sharing best practices to increase overall efficiency.
  • Supporting Ad Hoc Projects: Participating and occasionally lead in various ad hoc projects within the legal team from time to time.
  • Contract Preparation and Review: Handling various contract-related tasks, including preparing, reviewing, and redlining contracts like NDAs, SaaS licenses, vendor contracts, engagement letters, consulting agreements, and more.

  • Team Player Mentality: Embraces a positive, team-centric attitude, demonstrating good judgment, and a genuine willingness to support and assist others.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Relevant Experience: Holds at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Solution-Oriented Approach: Displays a solutions-oriented mindset, capable of developing and streamlining processes to enhance team performance and create operational efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with startup and/or in-house legal teams is preferred, though not required.
