Great opportunity for a Defense Litigation Attorney with trucking experience. Our law firm client located in Midtown, Georgia regularly handles claims involving trucking and transportation accidents, product liability, and premises liability. They serve clients across different industries, including motor carriers, medical transportation companies, crane and lift companies, automobile dealerships, restaurant and hospitality businesses, and retailers.

• Superior research and analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues
• Transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory experience required
• 10+ years of Injury defense litigation experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills; Deposition and motion experience preferred
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Legal project management experience is helpful
• Admitted to practice law in Georgia

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
• Regularly handle brief writing, court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
