ASSESSMENT FACTORS
1. Is flexible and responds in a timely fashion to changing requirements, priorities, and short deadlines.
2. Works independently to create accurately written, complex products tailored to a specific audience in an easily understandable manner.
3. Makes informed decisions about work priorities to ensure accurate completion of assignments and projects, and makes adjustments as required.
4. Applies knowledge of ADDIE and instructional design/delivery methodologies to develop curricula that supports both individual and organizational learning goals.
5. Designs, develops, and integrates higher technology such as computer-assisted instruction and video into the curriculum and oversees the design of these products. Experience in working with a distributed learning architecture such as Blackboard, Adobe Connect and APAN.
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
1. Identifies available resources and constraints that impact the effectiveness of work assignments, and develops plans that effectively utilize resources and overcome obstacles.
2. Develops and implements course development procedures, lesson design, validation and implementation plans, programs of instruction, and related topics.
3. Instructor experience in presenting face to face (in classroom) and virtual training.
Individual Occupational Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
All Applicants must meet the following minimum qualification requirements in order to be considered for this position:
A. Successful completion of a full four-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.
OR
B. Combination of education and experience-courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four-year course study described in A above.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
In addition to meeting the basic entry qualification requirements, applicants must have experience that demonstrates possession of the broad range and depth of knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the occupation or specialty at or equivalent to the next lower grade.

DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement.
