Job Description

Description And Requirements


Position Description:


  • Conducts research to understand industry best practices to discover important innovations and trends in learning. Applies these new methods, when feasible, to advance the learning experience, impacting team member performance.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs using appropriate frameworks and reports the measured impact.
  • Facilitates in-person classroom and virtual training programs.
  • Leads the design, development, and delivery of training programs to support enterprise capabilities/skill needs.
  • Consults with business leadership and stakeholders to identify learning gaps and uses this information to recommend appropriate learning solutions that lead to behavior change impacting business priorities/results.
  • Works with sales managers to coach and develop their teams.
  • Actively participates on cross-functional teams to support rollout of large training initiatives.
  • Uses appropriate instructional design strategies to create effective learning programs and materials using a variety of media.


Basic Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of corporate training experience, preferably in sales training
  • Bachelors degree or higher in related field (e.g., education, business)


Preferred Requirements:


  • Channel experience preferred
  • Experience in virtual and in-person facilitation
  • Experience in training needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Strong initiative and drive for results
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Knowledge of training development software (e.g., Articulate, Mentimeter)
  • Must be able to effectively work with a range of stakeholders including executives, subject matter experts, vendors, et al.
  • The ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities
  • Experience with Saba or other learning management systems a plus
