Overview

There is a huge appetite for learning at Spencer Ogden and therefore the L&D Consultant role is pivotal to the future success of the business in the Americas. The L&D Consultant holds responsibility for the training, developing, and coaching of entry level hires.
*This person can sit out of any of these office locations within the US: Houston, TX, Chicago, IL, or Denver, CO.
The Role:
At Spencer Ogden our learning and development consultants own the recruitment sales training outcomes that directly support and enable business results through strategy, oversight of development/implementation and recruitment training and performance results.
The Learning and Development Consultant will be responsible for delivering our recruitment sales training program to our entry-level recruitment consultants. The successful candidate will deliver training via face to face or remotely based off regional needs in line with our hiring intake dates.
The role is responsible for the entire learning cycle of our recruitment consultants and will ensure that Consultants learning outcomes and potential in the business is maximized, via assessments, coaching, feedback and KPI data review.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to effectively deliver formal sales training in person, online, via phone in individual or
- 12 months of 360 (perm) agency recruitment experience required
- Accountability to deadlines, targets, and appointments without being micromanaged
- Proven experience building relationships with key stakeholders and/or colleagues
- Group bases sessions
- Excellent communication and negotiation techniques with a clear passion for training and
- Development of entry level consultants
- Excellent organization and administration skills, this is a high-volume training role and
- Developing people
- Organization will be key to success
- Ability to assess sales performance and deliver objective and data driven feedback to progress
