Description
- Create and manage the L&D, internal communications, and compliance calendar to manage the flow of internal messaging, including HR initiatives, learning programs announcements, and organization updates
- Deliver quality content consistently, ethically, professionally, and on time in the face of tight deadlines, while demonstrating discretion and maintaining confidentiality
- Lead peers informally through project management and communication deliverables
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure onboarding-related communication and content is clear, consistent, and regularly maintained for a positive new hire experience
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and 8 Guiding Principles
- Help in facilitating guided discussions as part of the new manager development program
- Create visuals, communication materials, newsletter content and other promotional materials to create excitement and enhance visibility of L&D presence
- Coordinate learning program details, including participant list, facilitator list, meeting logistics and invitations, and assignment of pre-work
- Develop simple and short e-learning courses for internal processes as needed
- Responsible for tracking employee attendance and appropriate follow-up to ensure 100% compliance for all training initiatives and corporate required trainings
- Maintain online training library to include recorded internal training videos and third-party training videos
- Manage the LMS for course assignment, course tracking, and end-user experience
- Gather employee stories and communicate them through various format (email, LinkedIn, company message boards, etc.)
- Support all functions of HR to curate a unified voice and guide communication best practices for all employee messaging, leveraging the brand guidelines
- Build and maintain the Employee Handbook, HR policies, Compliance Posters, and other compliance related items as needed
- Serve as the liaison between HR and Marketing to maintain alignment, utilize resources effectively, and partner on shared initiatives
- Assist in reviewing and curating portal content from parent company in alignment with CoreSite culture and employee needs
- Build relationships and communicate closely with leaders and subject-matter experts to understand company objectives and communicate it to employees
- Strong team player
- While unlikely, travel up to 10% may be required for special projects
- Proficient with video, audio, and graphic design
- Ability to create concise and effective messages
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience communicating with and influencing individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong business and HR acumen, familiarity with HR compliance a plus
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment; 2-3 days per week in the downtown Denver office including Tuesdays for in-person team collaboration
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Well organized and confident to work independently
- High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, including deep understanding and ability to apply best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style
- Proficient with Articulate 360, including Storyline 360 and Rise
- Ability to influence and lead team members with informal reporting structures
- Minimum 5 years of communication or human resources experience with 2+ years of writing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Instructional Design, Communications, or similar
- Prior experiences with a technology company or in the human resources field
