We are looking for:

A Laboratory Technician to monitor quality of sodium based products and ensure that it meets all manufacturing and customer specifications. Perform routine laboratory analysis for process control and finished product.

• Analyze complex information or data into fundamental parts and proposal of next logical steps or solutions.
• Computer proficiency with Google suite and Microsoft programs.
• Accurate and legible recording of data by hand on paper records.
• Accurate typing and data entry on the computer.
• Work independently with minimum supervision and have excellent attention
• Follow written and verbal instructions. Write basic reports or summaries.
• Ability to accurately perform standardized routines on a repetitive basis. Laboratory techniques including weighing, pipetting, using volumetric glassware.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the candidate to be part of a growing Soda Ash & Derivatives family and participate in the ambitious transformation journey Solvay is launching in order to further upscale our Soda Ash & Derivatives capabilities. It gives the candidate's the opportunity to be recognized as the orchestrator of our Soda Ash & Derivatives and benefit from a large autonomy to define how we will reach our ambitions with respect to process standardization (think globally, steer regional and local deployments).

You will bring:

• 1+ years laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety, housekeeping, environmental, and chemical hazard procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret laboratory data and technical procedures.
• BS or AAS degree in chemistry/related science or hands-on laboratory experience required.
• Ability to organize own work and manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

You will get:

• 16 weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $64,000 to $99,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
