Position Summary: Midnight Sun Technologies is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician to provide support to the Bureau of Engraving Printing (BEP).

Job Duties

• Must follow all company and site safety and good laboratory practices.
• Complete all required company and onsite training requirements.
• Coordinate equipment calibration activities with lab personnel and the calibration program.
• Conduct thorough safety equipment inspections for the laboratories as per site and contract guidelines.
• Review the Maximo Start Center and verify laboratory equipment that requires calibration is listed with required certs.
• Collect, review, analyze, trend/graph all verification data as required by BEP policies and procedures and in accordance with AW various regulatory bodies.
• Perform weekly testing activities to include collection of data, analysis of data and generate lab reports/charts and provide results to the laboratory contact.
• Other duties as required.
• This position may have some travel requirements.
• Perform inventory of laboratory chemicals, ensure chemicals are listed in Safety Data Sheet system at required intervals.
• Perform weekly routine testing activities and analyses with limited complexity for example pH measurements, titrations, chromatography and analytical tests.
• Prepare credit card orders including results of market research

Required Skills

• Knowledge of system/instrument calibration
• Experience and ability to perform laboratory testing, data analysis and writing laboratory reports.
• Must obtain a BEP site access and complete badging requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard
• Associates Degree in Physical Science or Engineering
• 2 years of Laboratory experience
