Laboratory Manager Jobs

As Laboratory Manager and Staff Researcher, you will participate in general laboratory and staff oversight including maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, placing laboratory orders, maintaining an inventory of laboratory reagents, managing laboratory safety and biosafety, and instructing new laboratory personnel. In this role, you will also independently devise and execute experiments with research activities including molecular cloning, tissue culture of mammalian cells using aseptic techniques, DNA/RNA/protein extraction and quantification, research-grade retrovirus/lentivirus production, mouse colony management, mouse allograft and xenograft studies, and cell line authentication. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, demonstrate initiative and technical expertise, have excellent organizational and communication skills. Should also be team-oriented, attentive to details, and exhibit strong multi-tasking abilities. Prior experience as a laboratory operational officer and a Bachelor’s degree is required. Salary Range: $4,633.33 - $9,216.67 Monthly

Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or other related discipline * Working knowledge and experience in general immunology, cell biology and molecular biology techniques * 3+ years’ experience in cell and tissue culture * Flexibility of working hours to align with research projects * Prior experience with tumor immunotherapy, including adoptive cell transfer with TCR or CAR transgenic T lymphocytes * Knowledge of viral vector production and transduction of mammalian cells * Working knowledge of sample processing (tissue, blood) * Prior experience in mouse handling and colony management * Experience on experimental design and implementation * Capacity to generate budget estimates, revise and reconcile invoices associated with core facilities and vendors
