Kyc Research Analyst Jobs

Bessemer Trust is seeking a KYC Research Analyst ("Analyst") to join its Compliance Department in support of the firm's AML/BSA/KYC Program. A successful analyst will perform in-depth background research and due diligence on prospective and existing clients and entities in order to foster compliance with applicable AML/BSA/KYC laws, regulations and rules, and to foster the management and mitigation of all other key risks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform risk assessments of clients and prospective clients for regulatory and reputational risks to the bank.
• Fulfill other tasks or special projects as assigned in support of the broader Compliance Department mission.
• Analyze investigative findings to prepare concise oral and written summaries for compliance colleagues, client advisor and wealth advisor teams.
• Conduct comprehensive and accurate KYC-related background research and due diligence on current and prospective clients, entities, and other interested parties.
• Collaborate with various business and operational groups supporting the account opening function.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing sensitive and confidential information on a routine basis
• Familiarity with Salesforce a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent investigative and analytical skills.
• 1 – 3 years of compliance, risk management or other relevant experience in the AML/BSA, OFAC areas.
• 1 – 3 years of experience using LexisNexis (or similar research platforms) for research preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1 -3 years of experience with public records research and databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate with business partners, colleagues, and management from all departments across the firm.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is $75K - $90K. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
