About the Role:

The Key Account Communication Manager will be the main point of contact and communication lead for the Frontier Zone interacting with HUSA on and off premise chain account business partners. The purpose of this role is to align the zone chain strategy and innovation agenda with the national and regional chain business goals, provide clarity of voids to close, and ensuring execution. Additionally, this role will proactively manage void closure through regular communication with zone Sales Manager of Distributor Inventory, follow through with market manager, distributor, and retailer. Additionally, the Key Account Communication Manager will solve business problems and, where needed, design and/or integrate technical solutions. This role serves as a key, flexible resource to the Frontier Zone Director in driving results across the complexities and nuances of the Frontier model.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead communication and collaboration across a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic influence for the Frontier Zone to achieve business objectives
  • Prepare regular reporting and distribute to necessary zone team members, including National Account void report analysis, communication of gaps, and KPI measurement and tracking.
  • Regarding void closure: align and own the business performance management scorecard across the markets, supplying commentary and insights to the Zone Director.
  • Uncover compelling data and leverage category management insights to develop selling stories that bring value and solutions to retailers, as well as coach Frontier Market Managers to use data in distributor sales decks
  • Find areas for improved zone functionality and collaborate with the Zone Director and cross-functional chain teams to develop and embed ways of working.
  • Find and call on chain groups not identified as call points for national or regional teams that affect the Frontier Zone, develop call frequency to align with sales opportunities.
  • Participate on the zone leadership team, and proactively drive strategic thought grounded in data/insights to close voids
  • Leverage category development insights and opportunities to build sales tools that will drive incremental programming and distribution for HUSA, distributors, and retailers.
  • Simplify & harmonize national and regional chain activity communication across HUSA Regions so that Frontier Zone Market Managers have the information needed to activate locally.
  • Collaborate with HUSA national and regional account teams and distributors to drive execution
  • Lead communication and collaboration throughout multiple levels of all organizations involved to deliver business results. Which requires a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal partners, distributor partners and retail hierarchy
  • Establish and drive the internal zone communication plan, bridging the gap between the Frontier Market Managers and the appropriate cross-functional support teams.


Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • High level of comfort working within VIP, MS Office – PPT, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, CRM tools
  • Understanding of three-tier distribution environment
  • Ability to communicate with external distributor network
  • Proficient Budget tracking, Business Analysis, Presentation skills
  • Minimum of 4-6 years relevant commercial experience and sales support experience
  • Ability to collect and disseminate data from multiple sources into a concise and turnkey output


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interacting and calling on distributors / regional / national chain
  • Financial & Business Acumen in the areas of data analysis, reporting, budget management and market knowledge
  • Experience managing within retail and/or three-tier distribution environment
  • Sales Performance Management
