Versus Creative is a Los Angeles based, music-focused agency that specializes in building communities and experiences that connect people to artists and culture. We work with some of the world’s most renowned music festivals, musicians & brands to architect and execute marketing campaigns, experiential strategies, content direction and partnerships. Recent agency clients include Goldenvoice Festivals (Coachella & Stagecoach), Joni Mitchell, Grateful Dead, CHVRCHES, Jack White, and more. In addition to the agency work, Versus owns and operates the OFFAIR events series and OFFAIR Records, a label and joint venture with Universal Music, with the intention of soundtracking deeper experiences through music.
JUNIOR SOCIAL CREATOR
Versus Creative is looking to hire a full-time content creator at the junior level to collaborate in conceptualizing and executing social-focused assets for multiple clients. Working with the Director of Content Strategy and lead Social Content Designer, the position will be fast-paced and highly collaborative. Basic job description:
- Includes social-specific creative for platforms such as Instagram/Instagram Story, Facebook/Facebook Story, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
- Assist in preparation of pitch decks for internal and client use.
- Liaise with project managers to prepare assets for client deliverables.
- Collaborate with creative directors to conceptualize assets for social campaigns.
- Deliverables often include both static and motion-focused assets.
- Design and deliver assets for multiple high-profile clients.
- Stay up-to-date on contemporary aesthetics and design trends.
Ideal candidate has:
- A strong, proactive communicator with strong organizational intuition.
- Experience with motion graphics, or animation is a plus.
- Strong time management and ability to perform under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with camera equipment is a plus.
- Passionate, knowledgeable and comfortable to discuss popular culture.
- Ability to accept and interpret feedback.
- Experience working with both static assets and videos.
- Keen understanding of social media platforms and best visual practices.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a design role.
- Unafraid to think creatively and execute outside-the-box ideas.
