Adecco Creative & Marketing has partnered with a specialty materials company to hire a graphic designer.
This is a 6 month remote contract. Must sit in domestic US. Opportunity to be hired for the right fit and when headcount allows. Travel may arise depending on where you sit. If there is a local photoshoot, you could be invited to help with the project.
Summary
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will aid and work collaboratively with the Marketing services team and Senior Graphic Designer to produce graphic design assets, project coordination and administrative assistance to support Marketing Services with Aerospace SBU key strategic initiatives for corporate/global, business platform & regional teams. Creating compelling designs that effectively reflect the corporate message while following brand guidelines. Occasional travel for press checks, photo shoots, and tradeshows. Candidates should be highly motivated, organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams. This role reports into the Aerospace Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
• Support Marketing communications team in asset and content creation of printed and electronic collateral; including brochures catalogs, packaging, posters, technical literature, advertising, tradeshow graphics, slide decks, photography, product displays, social media posts and various other projects. Effectively convey corporate message
• Marketing Services Project Development and Coordination -- including tradeshows, advertising, literature, signage, vehicle livery, photography, photo editing, multimedia presentations, and various other projects -- with internal Aerospace customers and external vendors
o Gather requirements from internal customers collaborating using MS Teams
o Create project timelines
o Track project status including follow up with internal customers and/or external vendors such as designers, commercial printers and photographers.
• Digital Marketing Design
o Design digital marketing collateral for various areas including website, social media, paid channels and email marketing
o Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter (X) and Facebook
• Digital Asset Management
o Archive assets including metadata, identification of asset type and categorize completed jobs and assets and keep resource files up to date on server/DAM
o Optimize, size, upload and update images for eCommerce
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to travel about 5-10 % of candidate’s time
• A strong graphic design portfolio with demonstrated knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, digital design and print
• Experience developing creative and graphic design in agency or in-house graphic/marketing department
• Proven ability to deliver high quality designs on deadline and can adjust to last-minute changes and hurdles
• Ownership of projects from concept to production (including pre-flighting for press)
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills including copywriting, editing and proofing
• Ability to work well collaboratively and independently
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible and self-motivated
• Outstanding interpersonal skills essential to work with all levels of internal customers as well as outside graphic designers, commercial printers, photographers and other suppliers
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Expert knowledge of standard industry software (Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro a plus) as well as Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams and SharePoint)
• Familiar with project management and asset organizational tools
