Junior Fraud Analyst Jobs

The Junior Fraud Analyst is responsible for reviewing customer accounts with identified suspicious or unusual activity and determining if escalation or reporting is necessary. They will be the front line in defending against fraud and will be expected to audit applications, payments, FDWC cases and chargeback performance to provide high-quality operational feedback to the Fraud and Risk Manager and other stakeholders in order to improve Corserv’s overall fraud program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor queues of customers suspected of committing fraud, rule out false positives, and determine when a case needs to be escalated to the manager
• Review and analyze self-apply applications
• Monitor and audit chargeback data
• Act as secondary to Fraud prevention manager for Defense Edge/FDWC administration
• Conduct basic investigations of cases requiring extra attention
• Identify activity and patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior based on manual review and data analysis

Required Skills:

• Must have an inquisitive nature with a strong analytic background
• Experience working with FDWC/Defense Edge
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with authorization fraud
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be highly motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; this position may require discussions with our customers
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
