Fraud Analyst Jobs

The Mudflap mobile app connects professional truck drivers with fuel stops in the $800B trucking industry. We help truckers save thousands of dollars on diesel fuel (their #1 business expense), while providing our truck stop partners with access to new, hard-to-reach customers. We’re growing quickly and are looking for a new customer-obsessed teammate to join us on this journey.

As a Fraud Analyst at Mudflap, you will develop the policies and processes to proactively identify and mitigate Fraud losses for all of Mudflap’s products.

In this role, you will:

• Enable a safe expansion into new payment rails such as ACH
• Ensure that the loss rates of card align with the risk appetite and profitability goals
• Consolidate and enhance Fraud mitigation strategies for core legacy product and the fleet card product
• Partner with the data science team to develop appropriate Fraud detection models
• Develop and maintain monitoring reports to track the performance
• Determine KPIs to assess the effectiveness of Fraud policies and operational processes
• Develop a best-in-class monitoring framework
• Partner with Product team in evaluating and onboarding external tools/products that can improve Fraud detection

You have:

• Experience in mobile payments or financial technology strongly preferred
• Resiliency to frequent changes
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Ability to develop and foster strong cross functional partnerships
• Action bias and willing to work in a dynamic environment
• 3+ years in Data/Business/Financial Analysis
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL/Python/Excel
• Keen attention to detail and diligence in researching root cause of Fraud

The salary range for this role is $144,500 to $195,500. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives.
