Position: Junior Designer

SolesSoles4Souls is seeking a Junior Designer to expand their Creative team within the marketing team. This individual has 2-3 years of experience working as part of an agency/organization or communications team. You feel confident enough to take on projects yourself but are able handle critique or multiple revisions in order to create a final product that is best for the need. You are ready to join a team where each person’s role is vital to the organization and we’re all part of the brainstorming, planning, and execution marketing materials.

We are a fully virtual team, so while we are in communication daily with the rest of the members on the Marketing Team, it is important that you are able to manage your own time in order to meet deadlines and complete projects quickly that are within our brand guidelines. You will report directly to the Creative Director.

Junior Designer Responsibilities:

·Design weekly email series that meet brand guidelines and correspond with marketing needs.

·Design graphics, posts, and stories for social platforms.

·Manage design files, keeping track of proper logos and branded elements

·Create and edit PowerPoint presentations and decks.

·Manage work load and work independently to meet deadlines

·Collaborates and communicates well with team members and cross functionally across the organization.

·Participate in various design projects from concept to completion.

·Provide creative input to elevate the brand

·Work with Creative Director daily

Junior Designer Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• 2-3 years experience as a Designer / taking creative direction

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Experience with Canva and Adobe PDF editor

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience in After Effects or Premiere a huge bonus

• Experience in digital design: email marketing, social media campaigns.

• Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, color, and fonts)

• Team player & positive attitude

• Time management and ability to manage multiple on-going projects

• Creativity skills / Ability to pitch ideas / Collaborate & brainstorm with the Team

• Ability to handle review and critique of their work and make positive improvement

• Experience or ability to work virtually

Compensation: To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the listed below. The base pay range for this position is: $42K - $52K.
