Junior Designer (Hybrid) Jobs

Our client in the cosmetic industry, a dynamic and innovative brand, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Coordinator/Junior Designer to join their US Creative department.

In this role, you will provide crucial support to their marketing department, collaborating with full-time employees, consultants, and freelance staff. You will work closely with designers and project managers, ensuring the successful execution of campaigns and projects. Your responsibilities will include basic design tasks, updating presentation software files, managing budgets and expenses, coordinating photoshoots, and maintaining communication with external agencies.

The ideal candidate is a talented and motivated individual with a passion for design and a desire to contribute to impactful campaigns. The candidate can work in a hybrid or remote setting but must be able to attend our monthly photoshoots in Jersey City.

Note: This is a junior position that does not require extensive experience, although digital design experience is essential. The selected candidate will support our four Art Directors by assisting with basic projects, crafting supporting emails, providing attention to detail, and supporting on-set shooting. There is room for growth based on skill level and interest.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with breaking out creative to different specifications and siloing photography.
• Assist project managers in the final delivery of projects.
• Partner with the project manager and assist in the final delivery of projects.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and attend to shoot production requirements.
• Support on-set photo shoots and help organize monthly shoots.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the successful execution of campaigns and projects.
• This includes breaking out creative to different specs, siloing photography, assisting on photo shoots, basic branding needs and other creative initiatives.
• Partner with the design team to ensure campaigns and projects are successfully executed.
• Aid in basic branding needs and other creative initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 2-4 years of graphic design experience, with a strong emphasis on digital design.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills:
• Availability for 40 hours per week.
• Interest in production processes and ability to navigate projects effectively.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Marketing
• Experience level: Experienced
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and XD.
