Contract Ui Artist Jobs

Perfect Day is a highly creative, collaborative group of people who share a passion for creating engaging and immersive games and we’re looking to add a Contract UI Artist to our team.

As a Perfect Day contract UI Artist you will be responsible for designing icons and assets. This may also include UI comps for buttons and other UI elements or comps for features being developed.

What you’ll do:

• Design and create UI components (ex. menus, stats and inventory screens, in-game HUD elements, icons, etc.) from Visual Comps to completed in-game Features.
• Collaborate with UX Designer to support the creation of UI icons and elements

What you’ll bring:

• Capable of creating art mock ups based on UX wires
• Professional level of UI and graphic design skills (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, fine art, or equivalent experience)
• 1+ years of industry experience, preferably on mobile titles
• Self-sufficient and self-motivated; able to manage workload and meet project deadlines
• Proficient with industry standard programs (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)

Awesome if you have:

• Experience developing mobile games
• Experience with motion graphics
• Experience with user research and playtesting
• Familiarity with Unity
• Passion for UI, UX, art, game design, and gaming

As a part of the Perfect Day application process, candidates will be expected to provide a portfolio of their work and may be asked to complete a design test.

$30-40/hr
