Jr Recruiter

Summary: Responsible for supporting the company's talent acquisition and retention affairs to include sourcing, recruiting, and managing the hiring process with a focus on admissions and academic professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
• Support Corporate Recruiter with building on-going communication with hiring managers on company culture and mission, staffing goals, candidate interviews, and post-hiring results.
• Utilized corporate applicant tracking systems and candidate work flow within database systems
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals.Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites

Education/Experience:

Associate Degree with two years relative experience preferred; or a combination of experience and education.

Recruitment experience in higher education and/or allied health preferred.

3+ years of recruiting experience

Experience with job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Etc.)
