The Jr. Digital Designer is responsible for assisting in the creative/design execution of the Westgate Resorts’ digital experience, while forming/adhering to the branding guidelines. This person should be detail oriented and creative, with excellent organizational skills and above all, must be a team player and should be able to multitask and work under pressure. The Digital Marketing Department hires self-starters who possess a desire to make a big impact in a large company.

Responsibilities:

• Continues ongoing education and learning of new technologies that enable continuous improvement of outputs.
• Collaborate with team members to reach project goals.
• Ability to communicate concepts through sketches, wireframes, visual comps and interactive prototypes
• Adhere to the overall vison and marketing design strategy in support of Westgate’s business objectives
• Communicates effectively and deliver projects on time
• Serve as a designer responsible for the creation and production of high-quality B2C projects which includes, but is not limited to: emails, landing pages, cross-channel marketing campaigns, digital banners, social media, infographics, logos, websites and other marketing collateral
• Effectively understands web, mobile, video and email design standards and best practices
• Other duties assigned
• Takes direction form team leads and the Digital Creative Director

• UX/UI Design Experience Required
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS is a plus, but not required
• Digital Portfolio that demonstrates the candidate’s digital design abilities is required
• Design/advertising agency experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively determine and interpret customer needs
• Education: BA/BS preferred
• Local candidates only as No Relocation compensation will be offered
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• After Effects and Premiere experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• Expertise in digital and print communication is mandatory.
• Familiarity with a CMS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design
• Understanding of typography, page layout, color, hierarchy, and grid structures
• This is an on-location position
