THE TEAM
The LiveAnalytics team is a market leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients. Some examples our product suite include prospecting models, brand affinity models, venue-selection models, season ticket retention models, pricing models and economic impact studies. The list goes on and there are more requests every day.
THE JOB
We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst who is passionate about discovering trends and insights hidden in large data sets that are meaningful and actionable. You will be working on some of the most interesting and challenging problems in the sports, arts, family, and concert areas our clients face and you will have the opportunity to take our data-driven insights, convert them to recommendations and communicate those recommendations directly to our clients.
You will also work with our Business Analyst, Manager of Analytics, Data Scientist, VP of Global Client Analytics and LiveAnalytics Product Director to help create new and innovative product solutions and find opportunities for process optimization. In addition, you will be working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. You will have the opportunity to build models and see them all the way into production.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • Query, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources and structures and carry out data cleansing and normalization tasks to ensure data integrity.
  • Build PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports to summary results.
  • Produce and deliver audience insights, prospect and retention models, customer segmentation, market propensity reports, ad-hoc data pulls, and other existing products leveraging the worlds largest live entertainment database.
  • Interact with internal and external clients to develop hypotheses, scope project requirements, formulate and execution analyses, and present results and recommendations.
  • Our job descriptions evolve with our business need and priorities. In addition to the description above, your role may include additional projects and team support as needed.
  • Create and maintain dashboards utilizing Amazon Quicksight.
  • Perform post-campaign analysis, including customer segmentation and conversion performance, and provide recommendation for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain online dashboard summaries of data and campaign performance to facilitate learning and decision-making.
  • Work with implementation team on scoping, design, and delivery of client projects while also managing timelines and prioritization.
  • Work with internal data engineering team to automate model implementation.
  • Present results, insights, recommendations to internal and external clients.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
  • Experience working with SPSS Modeler, SAS or similar statistical package is a plus
  • Strong understanding of all facets of Database Marketing
  • Experience with data visualization tools, Amazon Quicksight a plus
  • Extensive experience with PowerPoint and Excel functions and formulas
  • 1+ years of experience using statistical and computer languages (R, Python, Java, AWS, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex analytics results and insights to less technical audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Information Technology, Economics or related fields

$65,478.40 USD - $75,000.00 USD
