Insight Global is hiring for a Remote IT Training/Development Specialist, supporting a top client of ours. Below I have included the job description, please apply if you are interested in being considered for this role.
Job title: IT Training/Development Specialist
Work Authorization: US Citizen
Interview process: 1 and Done Interview
Location: Remote - Up to 25% Travel
Contract duration: Direct Placement
Start Date: 2-4 weeks
Day-to-day:
• Designs, plans, and implements training programs and procedures specifically focusing on
leadership development and performance management.
• Develops and maintains USMEPCOM Information Resource System (USMIRS) application
competency models.
• Oversees training approach and modifies approach as needed to ensure ongoing
effectiveness and relevancy across all application modernization areas.
• Conducts annual training and development needs assessments for all assigned departments
and areas.
• Trains and coaches peer leadership in collaboration with application development efforts
and advise on future feature implementation.
• Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results and
modify programs as necessary.
• Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure the USMIRS user
community knows how to access training and development resources.
• Researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing programs to
meet the ongoing and changing needs of the company.
• Proposes training and development programs and USMIRS subjects to peers and
leadership.
• Evaluates and recommend the purchase of necessary learning aids and tools for the
department, such as specialized software and licenses, or recommend the development of new USMIRS features and software to meet USMEPCOM needs.
Required Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Education or related field and at least 5 plus years of experience with
in Instructional Design or Training.
• Desired and typical certifications include Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Technical Writer
Cert, and/or ITIL v4.
• Experience with Camtasia to create trainings.
Experience with AWS.
• 508 compliance experience required.
Required to complete and pass a background investigation commensurate with level IT-Il
for T3 or T3R.
