2Nd Shift - It Systems Administrator

Our Tier II Sys Admin position at Mytech Partners offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and skills, plus additional 10% shift premium for 2nd shift position.

Schedule for 2nd shift is 3pm - 12am. No Weekends

As our Tier II Sys Admin, you'll provide excellent customer service to our staff through verbal and written communications. You'll be responsible for supporting Mytech Partners managed services clients and services, processing and escalating on-call alert tickets, responding to client and management agent service tickets/requests, and proactively monitoring and troubleshooting managed backup solutions.

In addition, you'll assist in disaster recovery scenarios, perform scheduled maintenance, and help manage our tool platform upgrades, patching, application updates, after-hour services, and maintenance. You'll maintain complete control of critical alerts/issues or processes even during stressful situations by providing technical expertise, and document learned processes within Mytech's knowledge base.

To be successful in this position, you'll need a minimum of 2 years of industry experience, specifically supporting Microsoft-based environments. You'll also need experience with Windows Desktop OS's, Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, and the Microsoft 365 Platform. Preferred qualifications include experience with email flow troubleshooting, VLAN, VPN, Cisco Switch Configurations, Routing, Wireless, SonicWall & Fortinet firewall solutions, understanding of security risks and impacts, understanding of business continuity, knowledge of ITIL and change management.

We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge and understanding of SMB networks, infrastructure, and equipment. You should have the ability to concisely document processes, issues, and resolutions with strong writing skills, multi-task and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency, solve problems, work independently and within a team structure, be self-motivated and responsive to management and customers, have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experience working with time tracking/ticketing software, and demonstrated knowledge of standard help desk service call methods and procedures.
