It Service Technician Jobs

As an IT Service Technician at Metinteractive, you will provide remote and on-site support to clients - traveling to jobsites, both local and out-of-state, providing support for IT-based hardware, software, and network system issues. The IT Service Technician will also be responsible for ensuring quality service and performance for a variety of AV and broadcast systems. You will work with some of the largest stadiums and venues in the country, be challenged, and have opportunities to advance.

Reporting to our Service Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing IT-based hardware or software and network technology systems that provide broadcast and AV services
• Participating in on-call support as needed
• Tracking requests, communicating problems, and documenting resolutions in the Help Desk ticketing system for all computer-related trouble reported by local end users
• Ensuring the stability and integrity of network voice, data, video, audio, and wireless-access services used in a large-scale audiovisual and event production facilities
• Supporting on-site installation of systems by working with client IT organizations or services
• Supporting Windows/Linux-based digital signage system to ensure playback functionality
• Performing maintenance and service calls on client sites as needed
• Configure, deploy, administrate, and maintain broadcast/audio/video/control workstations and servers

You Are Someone Who Has

• 3+ years' related e Do you have experience or education with machining and reading blueprints? Harrison Steel has an opening on second shift in its machine shop for Machinists. This position is responsible for setting up and using various machine tools including mills, horizontal- and vertical-lathes, and machining centers to machine castings to tight tolerances. Both manual and CNC tools are used, and knowledge of CNC programs is helpful but not required. As this position will also drive a fork truck to supply its own castings, an active driver's license is required.

• Previous machining education or experience
• High level of personal accountability
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Good problem solving skills and knowledge of safety practices

Work Environment

The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, extreme heat and fumes or airborne particles, and is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Also exposure to outdoor weather conditions, non-weather related extreme cold, water and humidity, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The usual noise level is very loud. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
