Hiring Annual Salary Range: TBD
Position may be Remote or Hybrid (remote and office) Must reside in NC
Duties:
- Test planning and strategy: Create test plans and strategies for software
products and IT systems, ensuring they are comprehensive and cover all
relevant aspects of the application.
- Test execution: Perform execution of test cases, monitor test progress, and
track defects.
- Test automation: Identify areas of testing which can be improved by automation
and undertake this, reducing manual testing efforts and increasing overall
testing efficiency.
- Performance and security testing: Undertake performance, load, and stress
testing to ensure systems can handle the required user loads. Also, perform
security testing to identify vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Reporting: Report defects and provide concise, reproducible steps.
Communicate findings to management, as well as stakeholders directly if
needed, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement in software quality,
testing processes, and methodologies. Implement changes to enhance efficiency
and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical
degree from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of
progressive experience in business application consulting or development; or
- Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical
degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive
experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and eight years of
experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Must reside in North Carolina
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Understanding end user report specifications and providing support for
internal informational needs by understanding the processes related to
behavioral health and data system(s).
- Basic to moderate practical experience with some or all the following
technologies: Python (preferably in an automation capacity, e.g., Selenium),
SQL, Git, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
Preferred Experience: Advanced skills in MS SQL Server, Data Integration, Data
Warehouse. Expert in MS SQL DB, Performance tuning and optimization, High Availability
and, Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server. MCSE or MVP certification is a plus.
