SRG Global is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Covington, GA!

We are seeking a quality engineering professional with a passion for customer focus and creating value through continuous improvement in product and process. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self-motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a "hands-on" position that will work across the organization.

Our Team

You will join a principled based team that continuously challenges the status quo. Collaborating with multiple functions within operations, development, and transformative capabilities to create mutual benefit.

What You Will Do

  • Provide statistical analysis of inspection and dimensional data for improvement opportunities
  • Support new product designs to achieve targeted quality and productivity levels
  • Set-up 100% final inspection process including training and reporting structure
  • Quality expert in dimensional gauge design, evaluation, and certification
  • Lead in the development and implementation of process flow, control plans, process failure mode effects analysis, and standard work for early product / process development
  • Develop quality planning process and documents
  • Customer liaison for 8D submittals, quality alerts and corrective action implementation and verification

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working in a Quality function in a manufacturing environment

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • Experience with submitting PPAP
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
