It Intern Jobs

Overview:

Supports the Information Technology team with various activities related IT. This may include maintaining software and/or hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, performing software updates, contributing to application enhancements, and maintaining accurate IT documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing data to recommend improvements to existing systems or processes
• Installing operating systems and other computer software applications on new computers
• Assisting with computer network security by scanning for vulnerabilities and viruses
• Setting up new computers, networks, and software for new employees
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technology is working properly for the company
• Supporting the maintenance of existing computer systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software
• Collecting, analyzing, and storing data for use in reports
• Providing technical support for computer hardware and software issues
• Providing support to IT staff by answering phones, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests

• Other responsibilities and accountabilities may be assigned based on business and organization needs

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma
• Sophomore-Senior in College
• Preference for major in Information Technology or Computer Science

Commitment to the internship for a maximum of four (4) months, 3 days per week, or approximately 16-24 hours/week (preference for consecutive days during the week)
