Job Title: IT Intern

Department: Firelands IT

Salary: $15.00 Commensurate with experience

DEPARTMENTAL AREAS OF FOCUS :

Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions. Support PC hardware components, desktop operating systems, and application software. Perform repairs to equipment and arrange fr other servicing needs. Identify and report system issues to vendors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Support the technology team with the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems as needed

• Ability to seek out solutions independently
• Basic understanding of how computer networks work
• Run software updates and backups as requested
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016/2019 or 365
• Must be a licensed driver and provide their own transportation
• Troubleshoot issues with equipment, i.e. printers, and computers
• Participate in the deployment of new desktops or applications.
• Basic understanding of a Microsoft Windows environment is helpful
• Must be detail oriented.
• Good understanding of computer hardware
• Basic understanding of Azure AD
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11), - Mac helpful but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be a licensed driver and provide their own transportation

EDUCATION:

• Must be of rising Sophomore status
• Must be pursuing an Asociates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited Institution
