It/Business Systems Analyst

Looking for IT/Business Systesms Analysts. The ideal candidate(s) should have the following qualifiactions:

• Understand how technology needs of engineering teams align with the environments, processes and tools developed and maintained by the foundations teams.
• Maintain the group focus, lead meetings toward stated goals and manage the group dynamics in facilitating requirements gathering and review sessions including writing Agile epics and user stories.
• Review project deliverables to ensure completeness & adherence to standards; Manage risks and issues
• Ability to integrate with teams, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Collaborate with Product owner and scrum master to define, through written and verbal documentation, features and EPICs (higher level user stories) and decompose into user stories that developers can follow with clear acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate the collection of operational requirements, communicate how they fit into milestones and minimum viable products for releases and track completion
• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks.
• Review TER (Test Exit Report) with Test team and validate the application release to production.
• Understanding of SDLC Methodologies & processes – Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s or Higher degree in computer science, information systems,or related specific field.
• Design prototypes (Lucid Charts), defect tracking in JIRA and conduct review meetings with the team, to clearly define requirements and Plan Sprints.
• Work with technical teams and business partners to define/refine business rules and processes
• Review external requirements and ask the appropriate questions to clarify these requirements and route them to the appropriate technology domain
• Use Automation Tools to test & confirm the application release is matching requirements.
• Participate/Conduct design meetings to outline the structure of components like Database design (DB Table Schema), application design, using flowcharts, ER-diagrams etc., with fellow developers in the team.
• Analyzes the client environment and new business requirements to define solutions that meet client needs and have the flexibility to accommodate future changes. Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions to meet client requirements.
• Create Documentation/Data Visualization reports as the application progresses to provide knowledge and to collaborate effectively with the team.
• Participate in user stories creation, story slicing, backlog grooming, release planning, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
• Review user stories and daily plan/task list with team. Participate in Daily Stand-up, product grooming and sprint retrospectives.
• Map business entities to Database tables columns, data types and provide required business and custom validations to the team.
• Proactively seek to understand current technology of engineering teams as well as needs and gaps
• Produce technical documentation including environment diagrams and process flows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking.
• Define messaging standards and format using XSD for external/internal interfaces for application components.
• Monitor post-production processes to ensure accurate completion of all details
• Use Advanced REST Client and POSTMAN to validate reading and writing functionality of API/Services.
• Define NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) like Security, throughput/SLA requirements and work with developers to validate in SIT, UAT environments.
• Clearly communicate stories and acceptance criteria to dev and QA to shape test scripts
• Active role in programming methodology, computer software, report generation methods, data communication and transaction-based processing.
• Analyze data using Tableau and Google Fusion tables.
• Facilitate technology discussions between engineering teams and foundations teams regarding schedule and priority
• Draw UML (Use Case, Flowcharts, Sequence, State machine, Component, Activity) diagrams in Business Documents (BRD, FRS, UI Specs) using Rational Rose/Visio and provide walkthrough to the development team.
• Partner with the engineering teams to develop, quantify, and track technical KPIs to measure improvement
• Coordinate and manage vendors (when applicable) responsible for various components of the platform.
