Shift timing - 8 AMto 5 PM PST

Our Client is aGlobal Medical Device Manufacturer.

We are looking for anIT Help Desk Specialistto provide technical assistance to computer system users. A typical technical help desk specialist is responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for users in person, via telephone, or from a remote location.

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
• Mayinstall softwareor perform hardware testing remotely
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
• Answer user inquiries regarding computersoftware or hardware operation toresolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities

This role requires:

• Strong soft skills, andin-person IT supportexperience
• Ability to workon-site full-timeat the Orange County, CA campus
• ServiceNowTicketing experience
• Prior role with PC imaging experience, Autopilot is the current tool being used
• Work in a break/fix environment

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• 2-4 years of experience required
• Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
