Job Description

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm EST
Are you already a solid Help Desk II technician looking for a change? Have you reached the top level of Help Desk I and are ready to move up in your career path? The Longleaf Network has a place for the right candidate. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist customers in implementing solutions.
  • Evaluate user needs, defines technical problems, and work with engineers to determine solutions.
  • Providing technical support to system users and customer support staff
  • Provide timely, accurate service to generate high customer satisfaction and mentor teammates to do the same

In addition, the ideal candidate follows the triage process and documentation expectations and models the behavior to teammates. While this is a remote position, an employee may have the possibility of going onsite.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A 4-year degree in computer science or related field
  • 1+ Year of relevant service as an MSP Help Desk Technician
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, regardless of job title
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A natural fit with our corporate culture and values
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3, ConnectWise and CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
