The Opportunity
Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to assist in building tools and processes to bring data together to drive business decisions and efficiencies within the Global Oral Care Supply Chain. Join a team of professionals motivated by advanced technologies, serving as a catalyst for change, and identifying and aligning solutions to help support business opportunities.
Position Responsibilities
- Partners with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints.
- Designs, develops, and implements data and analytics cloud-based analytics platforms (DAP) and pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data from a wide variety of sources.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
- Contribute to and leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.
- Assembles large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements.

- Can provide customer-facing support in a professional manner.
- Has the ability to multitask and prioritize, work on multiple projects and manage time effectively
- Can work independently and as a team to gather requirements and translate into solutions
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power Bi, Tableau
- Ability to write clean, effective code in Python, PySpark, Hive, SQL, and/or similar programming languages,
- Experience with building data models & integrating data
- Familiarity with SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
- Solid understanding of big data/relational databases, with the ability transfer to another technology. Experience with Databricks preferred, Hadoop, etc
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- English fluency
- Familiar with using and/or building CI/CD tools
- Cloud experience & understanding, preference for implementing projects & solutions using Microsoft Azure stack
Preferred:
- Knowledge and/or experience with using or building CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
Pay Range: $146k-$172k
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
