Job Description

Position Summary:

ABSC is seeking a Data Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support the SOCOM program in Fayetteville, NC. This position on the data team is making petabytes of data available from numerous sources for data scientists and analysts to more effectively conduct intelligence analysis and support military operations. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Work with extremely talented geographically distributed teams to support critical missions
  • Ensure highly available data that conforms to VAULTIS principles (Verified, Accessible, Understood, Linked, Trusted, Interoperable, Secure)
  • Build and maintain data pipelines as sources changes or new sources become available
  • Coordinate with Analytics teams and Apps teams to support new requirements

Experience Required for this Role:

  • Knowledge of ABAC and Immuta a big plus
  • Demonstrated experience with Airflow and Trino
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5 years of experience in data engineering (ETL/ELT, Python, etc)
  • Strong scripting required

Education Required for this Role:

  • Ability to obtain privileged user access is a plus, Security+ or CISSP preferred.
