Job Description
Summary


Main role will be as part of the Inventory Management Department: Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, including reconciling stock, data entry and End of Month Adjustments following supervisors and system’s instructions. Peak of activity may require to support other teams / roles (receiving, put away, picking and shipping).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Assist in resolving inventory issues found in the warehouse
  • Detail-oriented professional with the ability to multitask and manage many inventory items at once, while maintaining communication with all employees along the supply chain
  • Completes all required paperwork/transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Use analytical skills to study inventory statistics, verify numbers and system setup information
  • Close attention to detail specifically when looking at item numbers and locations
  • Requires quick and effective decision-making skills on matters especially relating to improving customer satisfaction
  • Ability to think critically while doing daily tasks
  • Issue escalation and “story telling” to leadership and internal client on state of business
  • Documents all errors found during any research pertaining to SKU in question
  • Devise new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control
  • Ensures 100% compliance with Cycle Count requirements at all locations, reviewing with the extended Teams the Cycle Count Status and Performance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications


Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor


Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency


Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data


Hands-on commitment to getting the job done


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.


Strong organizational and time management skills


Three-plus years in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration


EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE


One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 1-year min related work experience training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Language preference is English. Ability to write simple posts. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY


We apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions—the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
