Interior Design Administrative Assistant

FMI Designs, Inc is a well-established, fast paced and quickly growing interior design studio located in Historic Downtown Stuart. We focus on creating luxurious spaces for both residential and commercial clients. We are currently looking for an experienced, detail orientated Administrative Design Assistant who will provide reliable support to the Lead Interior Designer(s) to ensure thorough client project workflow.

Work includes: maintaining detailed project notes throughout all stages of the project, taking accurate project measurements, preparing various fabrication work orders, entering detailed order entries in company software system to create proposals, placing orders, pulling purchase orders for vendors & subcontractors, tracking &scheduling, while participating complex design ventures. Position also includes vendor research and development.

Must have 1 - 3 years industry related experience. Must have excellent computer and communication skills. Software programs include Asana, Houzz Pro, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience using Chief Architect Software, creating renderings and room boards, is preferred. This individual must be able to adjust to changing environments, work well under pressure while be extremely organized.
