Ferguson is searching for an associate ready to step into an Inside Sales Representative – Valve and Automation Projects role and become an integral part of the sales team quoting valve and automation projects.


This associate will report directly to the District Valve and Automation Sales Manager and will primarily be quoting valves. This job requires you to be in the office Monday-Friday, ~8am-5pm.


Responsibilities


  • Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
  • Support the outside sales team on day to day and EPC project quotations.
  • Willingness to learn and train continually with project valves.
  • You will have Internal and External customers that you need to maintain relationships with.
  • Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while providing technical support and guidance.
  • Be a team player and work with our district sales team to support quotations.


Qualifications


  • Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
  • Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
  • Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
  • General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.
  • 3+ years' experience with fasteners, valves, or fittings in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.

Pay Range


$18.34 - $29.33


Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.


This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
