Job Description
Sunlighten's sales team is looking for highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Inside Sales Manager with a proven track record of managing successful sales teams with members of various experience levels. This will be a hybrid role and you would be required to be at our HQ in Overland Park, KS for two days out of the week. The ideal candidate will have a servant leadership style whose sole purpose is to see each team member succeed. We love to sell, have fun, and help each other win. Responsibilities:
  • Work with HR department as needed during employee life cycle- interviewing to termination
  • Schedule and lead team meetings, workshops, and functions
  • Recognize, evaluate, and improve inside sales and sales administration processes as necessary
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales, products, etc.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Provide coaching for existing sales consultants, training for new reps, and supervise all team members in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee a group of direct-to consumer sales associates, monitor productivity, direct performance, and motivate team to reach sales goals
  • Achieve monthly goals that are equal or greater than the sum total of individual team member goals
  • Adapt to rapidly changing situations while being extremely results driven, team-focused, technologically savvy, and innovative at building internal relationships
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats
  • Oversee all aspects of management including interviewing, hiring, employee relations, training and development of a team of Sales Reps
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Sales Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Overland Park, KS/Kansas City, MO metro area
  • 2+ years of Sales Management/Leadership experience, Inside Sales Management experience a plus

Compensation
Base salary plus a competitive commission where our top Sales Managers earn a comfortable 6-figure salary in a flexible and supportive work environment.
