We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager with a strong background in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of inside sales representatives, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth within the life science market.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns, including trade shows and conferences
- Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting and forecasting
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech organizations
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers throughout the sales process, including pre-sales consultation, product demos, and post-sales support
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets for NGS products and services in the Life Science market segment
WHAT YOU WILL BRING US
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and services.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to travel as needed.
WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKE
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably in the Life Science industry.
HOW WE WILL REWARD YOU
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 in California. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Sales Compensation Plan for the role. The actual compensation paid to any individual for this position may vary depending on factors such as experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
