Inpatient Pharmacist Jobs

With the support and resources of the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Manager, the Inpatient Pharmacist will work independently under minimal supervision and work cooperatively with health system and pharmacy staff. The Inpatient Pharmacist will provide professional pharmaceutical services by verifying orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information to healthcare providers, and overseeing the work of direct support personnel. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions and be able to adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.

Regions Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center serving adults and children in Minnesota and western Wisconsin for over 150 years. Working at Regions Hospital you will meet the care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric as well as specialty groups (e.g., psychiatric, oncology, obstetric, medical, surgical, and rehabilitation patients).

Required Qualifications:

• Current function in a central inpatient capacity.
• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed preceptor with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
• One year of experience in a central inpatient role including sterile product preparation.

Additional Information:

This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day/evening shift with every other weekend position working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $67.88-$77.30 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
