$1,500 hiring bonus l 60 hours every two weeks | Variable days during the week | 12-hour day and overnight shifts during the week | 7a.m.-7:30p.m. and 7p.m.-7:30a.m. shifts | Every 3rd weekend 7a.m. - 7:30p.m. | Rotating Holidays

Here are some ways you’ll serve patients:

• Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time
• Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal
• Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health
• Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely
• Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.

Qualifications:

• We’d prefer that you have your Nursing Assistant Certification, however, if you don’t, we offer certification. We pay for the course, and we pay you while you learn! Simply apply to this posting and we'll get you the information.
• Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.

We Offer:

• Shift differentials for evenings and overnights
• Starting pay $17.45 per hour however, we pay more for experience.

• To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
