Job Description

DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer Spec

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker containers (layering, multi-stage builds), CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Data and Infrastructure Observability, and AWS/Azure Administration. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company's QR infrastructure and ensuring its availability, reliability, and scalability.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for 100+ applications. Hands on GitHub actions experience is ideal.
  • Build a robust Data Observability platform. Write unit and integration tests and explore out of the box solutions for maintaining data integrity
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog or similar tools to ensure system uptime and performance.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of the system by designing and implementing fault-tolerant solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Docker images (layering) and Kubernetes configurations to support various applications (.Net, Python, APIs)
  • Administer AWS and Azure resources (Identity and Access Management) and maintain access control.
  • Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure
  • Maintain and enhance cloud cybersecurity by designing and implementing security controls and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage and administer GitHub repositories and maintain code deployment and version control.


Requirements:

  • Experience in developing and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong experience in AWS IAM administration and access control to AWS and Azure resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing and administering GitHub repositories and maintaining code deployment and version control.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Good understanding of cloud cybersecurity and experience in designing and implementing security controls and policies
  • Preferable: AWS or Azure Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer)
