Job Description

AWS Data Engineer

Location: NYC

Hybrid role with 3 Days on-site in Manhattan NY.

Our client is a large media organization based in NYC. You will be working in a team of data engineers to build the next generation data platform.

Required Skills:


  • At least 7 years of professional programming and design experience in Scala, Java, Python etc.
  • Strong knowledge of system / application design and architecture
  • Passionate about technologies, and openness to interdisciplinary work
  • Experience in building batch and real-time/stream processing ETL pipelines using: Apache Spark, Airflow, Glue, NiFi, Kinesis, Flink, Kafka, SQL, Scala
  • 3+ years of big data development experience with technical stacks like Spark, Flink, Singlestore, Kafka, Nifi and AWS big data technologies
  • Experience with processing large amount of data at petabyte level
  • Experience of building industry level high available and scalable service
