About the role…

The qualified IT Technician is responsible for the day-to-day assistance of customers throughout the country helping with everything from User Account Management to Remote Desktop/Terminal Services configuration plus other devices and features utilized by our Enterprise Rental Management Software.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Higher or equivalent work experience.

• Telephone/Remote Customer Support experience (Can be replaced with onsite experience or equivalent customer service experience).

• Windows Support Experience (at least 1 year supporting a PC/SERVER customer base).

• DOS BATCH, PowerShell or .Net programming or equivalent programming experience.

• Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Monday-Friday (Additional shift available).

• Ability to participate in rotating On-Call Support Required (Not a heavy on-call situation).

Desired Skills

• Driver’s License Scanners (OCR), Digital Signature Pads, Bar Code Readers.

• Small Business Network Routers and Switches (NETGEAR, Cisco, SonicWALL).

• Dell Workstations and Servers (Dell T1xx and Dell T6xx Series Servers).

• Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016.

• Microsoft SQL Server/Express 2008 setup and configuration.

• Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 configuration.

• POP/SMTP Email setup.

• Microsoft Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services.

Advantageous Skills

• Rental Industry experience.

• Point-of-Rental Software end-user experience.

• Microsoft Certified Professional/Administrator.

• CompTIA A+ and/or Net +.

• Remote Windows Administration for offices of 1 to 15 users.

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt. Base salary + benefits, 100% 401K matching (up to 4%) and profit sharing. Comprehensive and on-the-job training.
