Information Technology Support Specialist

This position will report to the CIO and is responsible for technology support, device logistics, and business systems support. This position requires attention to detail, proactive communication, and a focus on deadlines.

This is a full-time mostly remote position, but qualified applicants must be local to Bristol, VA due to this position requiring occasional travel to our logistics center.

Responsibilities

• Provides onboarding/offboarding support including end user account/device setup as well as device shipping logistics
• Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation performance.
• Promote the use of business systems in the company by helping teams develop automations within Power Automate
• Participate in SOC II certification attestation and data collection
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain an up-to-date hardware inventory
• Proactively monitors business systems for both security and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with remote support of computers
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• Intermediate understanding of Excel (Pivot tables, Index/Match, etc.)
• Experience with administrative Office 365 functions
• Meet deadlines on a consistent basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience in support of healthcare IT
• Degree in a related Computer Science / Information Technology field
