Information Technology Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a IT Support Engineer for a position with a client located in San Diego, CA

Pay/Salary Range: 50-60/hr on W2 only (negotiable upon level of experience)

Job responsibilities include:

• Ability to conform to standard ticket entry processes regarding the problem management system.
• Other duties as assigned.
• System Administrator of JIRA Service Desk and other Atlassian products.
• Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
• This position interacts with all areas and levels of the company, including consultants, vendors and external customers.
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail
• Understanding of Change Management Controls and Processes (ITIL knowledge a plus)
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Person needs experience installing new domain controllers, upgrading functional level and decommissioning.
• Backup experience – preferably VEEAM
• JIRA/JSD experience
• Proficient with PowerShell to manage, remote and monitor environment.
• VMware 5 and later experience
• Azure AD, AD Connect, SharePoint and O365 Administration experience.
• 4+ years’ experience required, 6 + years of experience preferred.
• Microsoft suite of products (SCCM, Teams
• Active Directory 2008 and above experience configuring and supporting infrastructure.
• AWS and or Azure Infrastructure experience
• Experience with Exchange hybrid and Exchange Online
